Through the Wire

Through the Wire is a radio show hosted by Christopher Blackwell and Antoine Davis, award winning journalists currently incarcerated in Washington state. Created by incarcerated people in partnership with the grassroots nonprofit Look2Justice, the show reaches beyond the bars by amplifying voices too often left unheard.

Each episode introduces listeners to remarkable people doing impactful work in our local and national communities, all united in their pursuit of a more just world. Signature segments include: Breaking the Mold, which offers authentic slices of life from behind bars; Hot Line, where the hosts answer candid questions about prison life; and Kites from the Joint, where people on the inside send shout outs via the airwaves.

 

Through the Wire isn’t just a radio show–it’s a movement for understanding and human connection.

Christopher Blackwell is a currently incarcerated award-winning journalist and co-founding director of Look2Justice. His work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Boston Globe, among others.

Antoine Davis

Antoine Davis

Antoine Davis is a husband, father, and award-winning incarcerated journalist. He is a pastor at Freedom Church of Seattle, and the Inside Director of Organizing for Look2Justice.

Colby Davis

Colby Davis is an audio engineer and musician living in Seattle.

Chelsea Moore

Chelsea Moore is an activist, award-winning educator, and co-founder of Look2Justice.

KJ Jones

KJ Jones is the Director of Programs for Look2Justice. KJ holds a Bachelors Degree in Law & Policy and was impacted by incarceration from a young age through his brother spending a lot of time in prison.
